RESQME Car Escape Tool - Glass Breaker & Seat Belt Cutter

Thankfully I haven't had a chance to use this, but from close inspection it's a quality escape tool. I have a 4WD so the risk of roll over is always present and these provide peace of mind to get out quickly. I like that they are very small so easy to position where you like in the cabin. I attached them to the sun visor frame using a cable tie, one for the driver and one for the front passenger, which still allows use of the visor but keeps the tool visible and easily accessible in the event of a roll over.

Adds more bulk than weight - it’s about the size of a car key fob with the key retracted.

Have not had any accidental activations of the glass punch while kept in my pocket with other items.

Great way to add something to car keys that is distinctive (can be even more distinctive depending on the colour you get) yet may also help someone on the road someday.

Quality product, have not used it yet and hopefully do not have to. I bought 6 of these to put inside our vehicles and put them where they are easily reached. Made little lanyards for them also.

To know that I have piece of mind knowing they can break the window of their cars and get out gives me comfort.. It is easy to use and the seatbelt cutter is a bonus.. Thankyou for helping me look after my family..👍😁❤️

In the couple of weeks since I ordered this, I have yet to find myself trapped in my seatbelt, and/or needing to smash the window of my car to escape, or to rescue another person - but I will return to this review and update it if the situation changes.

In the meantime, I can say that it shipped and arrived promptly with sufficient instructions on how to use it, and the bright yellow colour should make it easy to find if the situation requires it. The build seems solid - so I don't see it failing or breaking due to non-use.

Hoping to never learn how effective it is.

These devices do what you need them to do.
As a volunteer fire fighter I understand the danger of being trapped in a vehicle , especially in an accident/emergency. You should have 2 in each vehicle accessible front and rear.

Even though I have not use yet ( thank goodness).
They have different colours also light which you can clearly find in your car easily and light on your key ring.
I brought one for each of my family members for peace of mind knowing they can escape easily.

Brought this tool for my son as he goes off-road a lot. I’ve seen many videos of people that could’ve survived if they had one of these tools so I decided that I would put my family first and buy four, best decision I ever made it puts my mind at ease to know that my family will be safe if anything happens. This is a must have on everybody’s key chain. Imagine a high humid day and you find a dog or child in a locked car. Be prepared!! I haven’t had to use mine yet, but I’m confident if its capability.
